We have been in Labradors since 1995 and are active in field, conformation, and obedience.
We’d like to acknowledge a few special people. First, our thanks to Diane Pilbin,
Chucklebrook, reg., who was willing to take a chance and give us our first two labs,
Trevor and Tessa. To Karen Kase, Gypsybog, who started us in the field and has
been there for us along the way!
For our field accomplishments we’d like to thank
Buck Shope, Swift River Retrievers for his professional coaching, we couldn't have
done it without you.
Thanks to Kathyrn Mines for handling Tele to our first
Champion! Thanks to all of those who have helped us on our journey, especially
Ellison Armfield, who has been a great supporter on our quest for the CH MH.
Looking forward to the future wherever it may lead.

A little bit about our kennel name:
as you might have guessed we are skiers - the fall line is the shortest distance down any part of a slope.
Sugarloaf Mountain Maine is our mountain - we are "loafers"! Our dogs join us on our trips north - they are
"loafers" too. We haven't quite figured out how to strap the skis on them yet, but they still enjoy the snow.
